A CRAFT and art supplies chain will open its new Stanway shop this spring, the business has confirmed.
Hobbycraft, which is the UK’s leading haberdashery and crafting supplies firm, is set to open its latest store at Tollgate, Stanway, bringing 15 new jobs to the area.
Although the firm is awaiting planning permission to install signs, air conditioning units and bi-parting automatic doors at the unit, in Tollgate Road, it has issued a statement in anticipation of opening.
A spokesman for Hobbycraft said: “We are delighted to confirm that our new Hobbycraft store will open at Tollgate West Business Park in Colchester this spring.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming craft beginners and enthusiasts alike into our new store. We will confirm more details closer to the opening day.”
