THAT’S it. I’ve had enough.
The illustrious train company serving south Essex – c2c – has traditionally been very effective at serving customers.
While its train services are good, getting tickets is an absolute nightmare.
Time and time again, I’ve stood at Chalkwell or Leigh stations where there are no staff in the ticket offices.
Trying to manoeuvre my way around these new, ridiculous ticket machines is awful.
They just don’t work.
On one occasion, the security guard at Leigh was so exasperated, he told people to pay at their destination because the queue was so great.
I have no problem at all with modernisation and automation, but, please, c2c really needs to get a grip on this issue as a matter of urgency.
