TWO men are to face drugs charges after being arrested as part of the police’s crackdown on crime.
Operation Sceptre is Essex Police’s ongoing work to tackle violent crime and knife crime.
Jake Holliday, 24, was arrested after officers stopped and searched a car near the Middleborough roundabout in Colchester on April 27.
Holliday, of Devon Road, Colchester, has been summonsed to court to face a charge of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 9.
Lee Morrison, 22, of Maple Close, Harwich, was arrested in Head Street, Colchester on May 2.
He has been summonsed to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 28 to face a charge of possession of cocaine.
