AN air ambulance landed at the scene of a single-vehicle crash involving a quad bike in Colchester.
The accident, which involved a quad bike and no other vehicles, took place in Harwich Road, at around 1.10pm yesterday.
The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance touched down in a field just off Harwich Road and an ambulance also rushed to the scene by road.
Essex Police were called to the incident at around 1.20pm.
One man was injured in the collision, although the nature of his injuries are not known at this time and it is not known if he was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: “We were called at 1.12pm with reports a man had been injured during a traffic accident.
“We sent an ambulance and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.”
