A TEENAGE girl has suffered life changing injuries after a serious crash in Shoebury.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following the crash on Poynters Lane at 5.20pm on December 5.
The 16-year-old was crossing the road near the junction of Ravendale Way when she was hit by a car.
She suffered leg and head injuries and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 56-year-old woman from Great Wakering, who was driving a silver Ford S-Max was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving offences at the scene.
She has since been released under investigation.
Anyone with information about this incident, or who may have been driving nearby at the time and has relevant dash cam footage, should call police on 101 quoting incident number 852 of December 5.
