FIRE crews rushed to a blaze in a Southampton home after cooking was left unattended.
A team from Redbridge Fire Station arrived at the property on Denzil Avenue in St Marys, Southampton, yesterday afternoon.
The crew tackled the fire, that was reportedly in the cellar of the house, at 1.48pm.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service told the Daily Echo that the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
