A TEENAGE drug dealer was caught with a mallet and 41 wraps of Class A drugs.
The 15-year-old from Dagenham had the items in Priory Street, Colchester, in June.
He was convicted of possession of an offensive weapon, possession of crack and heroin with intent to supply and obstructing a police officer.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was given a six month curfew banning him from leaving his home between 8pm and 6am for six months.
He must also attend appointments with his responsible officer when directed and pay £321 in court fees.
The drugs and the mallet will be destroyed.
A TEENAGER who damaged a string of fences has been ordered to pay compensation.
The 14-year-old, from Colchester, targeted the properties in Conifer Close.
He admitted four counts of criminal damage at youth court in Chelmsford.
The boy who cannot be named must now pay out £50 to each householder.
He will also be referred to the youth offender panel to agree a contact of rehabilitative behaviour.
A GIRL must pay compensation following an assault.
The 16-year-old from Buckinghamshire attacked someone else in Colchester in June.
She admitted the offence at youth court and was ordered to pay £20 compensation and must agree and eight month contact with the youth offending panel.
