A TEENAGER went on a furious rant at police officers saying he could not wait for somebody to slit their throats.

Blake Bishop was the passenger in a Ford Focus which was pulled over by police in Colchester.

Officers were talking to the driver when Bishop began his foul mouthed rant and swore at the two constables.

He also threatened to steal their police cars, said he hoped they die and made the vile comment about throat slitting.

Bishop, 19, admitted two counts of threatening behaviour which may cause alarm or distress at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.

Evelyn Hicks, mitigating said: “He regrets his actions and knows his behaviour was wrong and inappropriate. He did not lash out - it was only the words he was arrested for.”

Bishop, of Manor Road, Harlow, was handed a 12 month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work.

He must pay £95 costs and a £105 victim surcharge.
