A driver was arrested after a high speed police chase ended with a crash and an arrest.
It happened in Rayleigh last night and officers took to social media to post about the incident.
A spokesman for the Southend Local Policing Team posted on Facebook: "Officers from Southend and Rayleigh Local Policing Team were involved in this Fail to Stop incident tonight.
"The subject vehicle did elude police, but eventually went on to crash in Rayleigh. Fortunately no one has been injured.
"Apologies to anyone inconvenienced by the temporary road closure.
"One suspect has now been arrested and an investigation into various offences is now on going.
"Also, if anyone happens to find a wheel, by all means please let us know on 101...oddly there is still one wheel unaccounted for following the crash."
