The travellers who were pitched up at beauty spot car park have now left
A GROUP of travellers which had pitched up at a beauty spot car park have now left.
Eight caravans and motorhomes arrived at the Chanterelle car park at High Woods Country Park, Colchester, early last week.
After being served notice by landowners Colchester Borough Council on Friday the groups departed the land on Saturday.
A clean-up operation was completed on Sunday and the car park is now open again to the public.
