POLICE are trying to track down a wanted man who failed to turn up for a court appearance.
Kofie John-Welch, 24, of Oxford, is known to frequent Oxford, Witney, Didcot and Banbury.
He failed to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, August 22, but police did not say what he is wanted for.
The force urge the public not to approach him, but to call 101 if they see him.
He is described as black, about 6ft 1ins tall, and of average build. He has facial hair and black hair usually styled in cornrows or an afro.
Investigating officer, PC Kate Young, of Oxford police station, said: "We need to find John-Welch and would ask that anyone who believes that they have seen him to contact police.
"Anyone who sees him, or has any knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call 101, quoting 43190259945."
