FRINTON Bowls Club's ladies prevailed in the Connie Oxley Trophy, defeating neighbours Kirby.
This match has been held for years and created plenty of friendly rivalry between the clubs.
The cup has changed hands on numerous occasion but this season it was retained by Frinton.
Their team consisted of Elaine Pearce, Jean Saunders, Heather Muttock, Marian Smith, Linda Deighton, Barbara O'Connor, Debbie Martin, Val Edwards and Janet Pearce.
Meanwhile, Frinton's ladies claimed all six points when playing their final Tendring Hundred League match of the season, against Wivenhoe A.
