Ten men have been summonsed to appear at court following a disturbance in Braintree town centre in January.
The alleged incident happened in Market Place on January 5.
Connor Chambers, 22, of Baddow Road, Chelmsford, will answer a charge of violent disorder and possession of cocaine.
John Chambers, 52, of Mill Park Drive, Braintree, is charged with violent disorder.
Yasir Ahmed, 20, of Nottage Crescent, Braintree, is charged with possession of heroin, possession of a knife in a public place and violent disorder.
Tommy Gilbert, 21, of Rana Drive, Braintree, is accused of possession of a knife in a public place and violent disorder.
James Branagh, 39, of Crittall Road, Witham, is charged with violent disorder.
Ryan Walsh, 20, of Churchill Road, Braintree, will answer a charge of possession of a knife in a public place and violent disorder.
Franklin Avitabile, 22, of Alpha Close, Braintree, is accused of violent disorder.
Michael McDonagh, 23, of High Road, Wood Green, will answer a charge of possession of a knife in a public place and violent disorder.
Stephen Chambers, 49, of Chelmer Road, Braintree, is accused of violent disorder.
Leroy Moran, 22, of Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree, is charged with possession of a knife in a public place and a charge of violent disorder.
The men are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on October 2.
