DRAGON Martial Arts School held their annual black belt grading day with participating students from Colchester, Manningtree and Clacton.

The day started with Carl Wildon going for his Fourth Dan.

Next up were Neil McGregor and George Beesley, going for their Third Dan, followed by Jonathan Martin, going for his Second Dan.

Afterwards, Jack Mitchell, Holly Morters, Harry Wright, Josh Wood, Mark Johnson, Daryl Bigg-Wither, Oliver Boatrace, Samuel Stickland, Marie-Elise Lau and Martin Lau went for their First Dan.

All students demonstrated a number of disciplines, which included basics, open-hand forms, long-range and short-range weapons, self-defence and sparring.
