THE number of spaces in a town centre car park will be halved whilst it is resurfaced.
Vineyard Street car park, in Colchester, will be at half capacity on Wednesday.
Temporary signage will advise motorists of the works and nearby alternative parking locations.
Mike Lilley, councillor responsible for communities, wellbeing and public safety, said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but the part-closure is necessary to allow the resurfacing works to be completed quickly and safely.
“The car park will remain open and keeping the works to one half of the car park on just one day will help to minimise disruption."
