A canine charity held its 12th annual greyhound show in Great Notley country park this weekend.
Hundreds of hounds, owners and onlookers turned out for the special event, which was put together by Greyhound Walks.
Organiser Angela Inskip said: “Greyhound Walks is a charity which organises walks throughout Essex and Suffolk.
“The money we raise goes to greyhounds that are in need. A lot of them are ex-racing greyhounds that come to be rehomed.
“We are doing events and a Fun Dog show as well today.”
Established in 2006, Greyhound Walks promotes greyhounds and lurchers as pets.
It invited several other canine-friendly organisations to set up stalls to raise money and re-home hounds in need.
Among the marquees was Meadow, a five-year-old greyhound who Greyhound Trust Suffolk are hoping to re-home.
Other pop-up attractions included two Scooby-Doo ice cream vans, a special doggy play area and a coconut shy, alongside concession tables.
Funds raised by Greyhound Walks on the day are earmarked for collars, toys, beds and leads which allow the dogs they care for to live happier lives.
