LONG queues are being reported on the A133 at Frating after a woman was cut free from a car following a crash.

A woman was trapped in her car after it left the slip road from the A133 onto the A120.

Firefighters were called at around 8.20am this morning and worked to stabilise the vehicle.

They released the woman by 9.36am and left her in the care of the ambulance service.

The slip road onto the A120 remained closed to traffic while the vehicle was cleared.

Delays are being reported along the A133 back to the Weeley roundabout.

An Essex Fire Service spokesman said: "One woman was left trapped in her car after the incident, having left the roadway at the junction which connects the A133 and the A120.

"No other vehicles were involved."
