ON THIS day ten years ago The Argus went down to Worthing Rugby Club, but not for any sporting action. Instead we went to see people walking across hot coals to raise money for a good cause. Do you know anybody who took part in this fiery challenge?
This group did a sponsored walk across hot wooden coals at Worthing Rugby Club in aid of Worthing Churches Homeless Projects
The coal runners were cheered on by the crowd from the sidelines
Paul Harvey set up the fiery coals, ready for everyone to walk over. It really looks quite hot
Dave Hunt gave his feet a roasting as he takes part
Claire Buckley felt the burn of the coals as she walks across them
Claire was just one of the people taking part and was cheered on by the crowd as she crossed the hot coals
While Anna Bingham showed no fear as the crosses the coals with speed
Would you be brave enough to take on this challenge?
