A PUBLIC relations agency has been shortlisted for three national awards.

Midnight Communications, in Foundry Street, Brighton, has been nominated for the honours at the 2019 CIPR Pride Awards.

The evening, headed by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, celebrates the best PR companies in the country.

Midnight has been shortlisted for the Best Use of Media Relations and Best Travel, Leisure or Tourism Campaign awards, both for its work on behalf of Arundel Castle.

Meanwhile the company’s PR executive Emma Hynes, pictured, has made the shortlist for Outstanding Young Communicator.

Emma joined Midnight’s graduate training programme in February 2018 and quickly progressed, supporting a variety of campaigns.

Midnight was founded in 1995, with a management buyout by Flo Powell and Alex Hankinson at the beginning of 2018.

Flo said: “To be shortlisted for Best Use of Media Relations shows our commitment to building trusted and valuable relationships with journalists, something we take incredibly seriously, especially in the era of fake news.

“We’re also over the moon that our Emma is up for Outstanding Young Communicator. Midnight has always had an excellent reputation as a graduate employer.”
