Commuters are facing severe delays this morning after a crash between a van and a car on the Dartford Crossing.
The incident happened shortly before 7am on the QEII bridge between junction 31 and 1A of the M25.
One person is believed to be injured but the nature and severity of the injuries are not known at this time.
Queues are already building back past junction 29 with the A127.
Emergency services and highways officers are on scene but lanes 1 and 2 of the motorway are currently closed.
Motorists are experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes while police work to clear the road.
Drivers are warned to allow extra time to travel or seek alternate routes.
