SHOPPERS were surprised to see a flash mob during their supermarket visit.
About 30 people joined in with a flash mob dance for the #TescoDanceBeats campaign.
Chloe Townsend, who helped organise the dance at the Tiptree branch, said: "We took over the front of the store and had a great audience watching the routine.
"It was so much fun and Tesco staff were great at joining in and passing round buckets to help get donations for Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation."
It was part of a nationwide fundraiser for Tesco's chosen charities.
The fundraiser will culminate in an epic 30-hour world record attempt where thousands of Tesco colleagues and members of the public will come together to attempt the record for the world’s longest dance marathon relay at Wembley Stadium.
