Police investigating after death of baby
POLICE are investigating following the death of a baby.
Officers were called to Gerard Road, Clacton, on Thursday morning.
He sadly died later in hospital.
Police remain at the scene and are investigating.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called at approximately 7.20am on Thursday with reports that a baby had become unwell at an address in Gerard Road, Clacton.
"The boy was taken to hospital but has since sadly died.
"We remain at the scene and our inquiries are ongoing."
