A DRIVER has been arrested after a car crashed into a wall and drugs found inside.
Essex Police's Castle Point Local Policing Team were called to the incident in Benfleet yesterday.
The Red Peugeot 207 had caused substantial damage to the wall, but the driver did not suffer serious injuries.
They have since been arrested for driving without insurance, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, after a large amount of what is suspected to be Class A drugs had been recovered at the scene.
The police investigation is ongoing.
