A MUSIC festival is set to return to Burnham this weekend.

The Midsummer Music Festival at Creeksea Place Farm, in Burnham, returns for its sixth year tomorrow and Saturday from 5pm to 11pm.

The weekend kicks off with a performance from musician Noel Cowley and includes many more acts.

Venue owner Emily Wilsdon said: “We sold out of the Saturday night tickets in record time this year.

“We look forward to welcoming a host of local talented musicians, alongside a variety of great food, a cocktail bar, beer tent and fun activities for children, including slime workshops and flower crown-making.”

There is parking at the Parlour Café nearby as well as overflow parking.

Organisers recommend walking to the venue along the footpath which follows the rail line from the town.

Any food and drink not bought at the festival will be confiscated at the door.

Tickets for camping are available for £5 per person.

Tickets are still available for Friday night but Saturday is sold out.

The venue is also holding other events later this year, including kids outdoor yoga and slime workshops, and a new café opens next month.
