A POPULAR supermarket in Halstead that has been fundraising for a life-saving charitable organisation has concluded its efforts with a generous donation.
Sainsburys, on the High Street, has raised more than £1600 for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
The funds were generated through a series of fundraisers including raffles and book sales, as well as a pop-up stall at last year’s Christmas Fayre.
Store manager Hayley said: "We are really proud of the amount that we have both raised together and want to thank our customers for their kind generosity in supporting us to raise an amazing £1693.03."
