Police search a property in London Road, Copford..
A MAN arrested after firearms and ammunition were discovered has been released under investigation.
Police were called to a property in London Road, Copford, after concerns were raised about the occupant's welfare.
They made the discovery while inside.
A 71-year-old from Copford was arrested.
Police have been searching a house in London Road since the arrest was made four weeks ago.
Another property in Hugh Dickson Road, Colchester, is also being searched in connection with the investigation.
The man answered bail yesterday and police have confirmed he has been released under investigation.
