ANOTHER man has been arrested following an extensive police investigation in to the theft of a taser in Bangor last week,
Officers have arrested 37-year-old Barry John Roberts, from the Gwynedd area. He has been charged with the theft of a police issue taser and possession of a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of an electrical incapacitation device.
He will appear before magistrates at Caernarfon this morning (Tuesday, July 9).
Detective Inspector Dafydd Curry said: “As a result of intensive enquiries, we have recovered some component parts of the missing taser. However, the main body of the weapon is still to be found.
"Our team of detectives will relentlessly continue with the investigation until all of the taser is located and there will be further police activity in response to this unacceptable incident.”
