SIX people were towed to safety by the RNLI Beaumaris lifeboat.
The town's volunteer crew were called to help a vessel with an engine problem near Caernarfon.
The lifeboat Annette Mary Liddington was launched at 9.05am on Saturday, June 30.
A Beaumaris RNLI spokesperson said: "Upon arrival it was deemed prudent to tow the boat with her six adult occupants to a recovery point in the Menai Straits.
"The craft was towed into the Menai Straits to a location where facilities where available to recover the vessel from the water."
The lifeboat was then released from service by the U.K. Coastguard and returned to the lifeboat station at Beaumaris at 10.25am.
It was recovered, refuelled and prepared for her next service by 10.55 am.
