Scene - a red car was found tipped on its side in Bounstead Road, a man was taken to hospital
A MAN was taken to hospital after a car was found on its side near Friday Woods.
An ambulance was sent to Bounstead Road shortly before 10am yesterday morning following reports of a road accident.
It is not known exactly what happened but a red car was found tipped on its side and there was no sign of any other cars involved.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said one patient was treated.
He said: “A man was transported to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and care.”
The extent of his injuries is unknown but his condition is not believed to be serious.
We contacted Essex Police for a comment but it is not believed any crime had been committed.
