DRIVERS were left frustrated after a lorry blocked a rural road.
The lorry, which had been travelling south towards the A12, blocked Oak Road, in Rivenhall, yesterday afternoon (June 10).
The lorry driver attempted the u-turn to avoid the height restricted railway bridge.
It is the latest in a long line of incidents where lorries have either tried to turn around to avoid the bridge or have hit it.
In March, a lorry became stuck for around two hours after turning to avoid the bridge.
Plans to re-route lorries which are too tall away from the area have been put on hold until Highways England announces its plans to improve the A12.
