RESIDENTS can tuck into a free breakfast thanks to a scheme put forward by a retailer.
East of England Co-op will be running their annual Sourced Locally Fortnight to encourage customers to swap their named-brand groceries for local alternatives.
As part of this, an all-day breakfast roadshow will tour Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk.
Visitors can indulge in bacon sandwiches and fried egg sandwiches at Burnham’s Co-op car park between 11am and 3pm on Tuesday, June 11.
The roadshow will allow the public to taste locally sourced bacon, sausages and burgers and eggs.
Co-op spokesman Roger Grosvenor said: “This is a wonderful chance to celebrate that journey from field and farm to fork."
The initiative which was first launched back in 2007 runs until June 15.
