TWO teenagers arrested after a boy suffered what were feared to be life-threatening injuries have been released under investigation.
Brooklyn Taylor-Mcloughlin, 15, was hit by a Honda Jazz in Turner Road, Colchester, on May 1.
He was put into an induced coma and flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital because of the severity of his head injuries.
Fortunately, the youngster from Wivenhoe is now recovering at home.
A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were both arrested on suspicion of assault after the crash.
The girl was additionally arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Both are from Colchester and answered bail on Friday where they were released under investigation.
