The band, which were originally formed in 1974, have become one of the most iconic rock acts today, and will be rocking out this summer to large crowds.

They are asking Scots bands to email a link to their music, with Soundcloud and Bandcamp preferred, to be considered.

A shortlist will then be drawn up into a poll, and The Stranglers will give family and fans the chance to vote for their favourite acts.
