A MAN has been arrested for drug driving and possession of drugs following a crash in Westhoughton.
Police were called just after 3.45am on Sunday morning, to reports of a collision in Southfield Drive.
The driver was given a drug test, which showed there to be evidence of cannabis and cocaine in his system.
Officers also searched the car and found cannabis and snap bags of white powder.
On Sunday morning, GMP Bolton Central tweeted: "The driver of the vehicle which crashed has been arrested for possession of class A and class B drugs, as well as drug driving.
"He remains in police custody."
