A DRIVER will appear in court after being spotted driving a car with a multitude of problems.
Police officers from the Bolton Central team, spotted the dark blue Volkswagen Golf in Chorley Street, Halliwell, on Friday evening.
Just after 6.30pm officers stopped the vehicle.
They found the car to have no insurance, false registration plates, no tax, two faulty tyres and a broken windscreen.
Police summonsed the driver to appear in court at a later date.
GMP Bolton Central tweeted: "At 6:37pm, officers stopped this vehicle on Chorley Street, Halliwell.
"Driver summonsed to court for no insurance, driving a vehicle with false plates, no tax, driving with two defective tyres and driving with a defective windscreen."
