Stow Maries Aerodrome is set to welcome hundreds of historic vehicles and flying machines to another Wings and Wheels Festival.

The festival will see almost 150 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes and military vehicles on show with some old school planes ready for an airborne display on the day too.

Among the star turns at this year's festival on land at least will be the iconic Bond Bugs, a host of Micro Minis and classic vehicles including Triumphs, Cadillac, MGB GTs, Porches and much more.

A new addition to this year’s event will be also bring one of Britain's most interesting pieces of engineering, the pennyfarthing and a host of Tricycles too.

Stow Maries chief executive, Ian Flint, said: "We always look forward to Wings and Wheels, here at Stow Maries.

"It’s such a popular event in the regional calendar, and strongly supported by our local community.

"Each year is goes from strength to strength - with this year our biggest yet.”

The Wings and Wheels Festival will take place on May 19 from 10am to 4pm.

Tickets must be bought in advance, costing £17.50 for adults, and children 15 and under enter free.
