AN inquest into the death of a man who was found dead in woodland has opened.
Owen Collis, 36, of Trinity Road, Halstead, was found hanging in woods near Park Lane, Gosfield, on April 21.
Police were called to the scene at 4.52pm and confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
A post-mortem was carried out and the provisional cause of death was given as 1a hanging and 2a early onset Parkinson’s disease.
At Essex Coroner’s Court on Thursday, May 2, coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray adjourned the inquest and set a full inquest date of October 9.
