HALSTEAD Residents Association has swept a landslide victory in the town council elections.
Ten of the 12 seats on Halstead Town Council were taken by Halstead Residents Association which saw Conservatives knocked out of the council.
Labour gained two seats.
Sitting on the council for the Halstead Residents Association will be:
Janet Atkinson (HRA) - 376 (elected)
Peter Caulfield (HRA) - 484 (elected)
Peter Claydon (HRA) - 342 (elected)
Sandra Dingle (HRA) - 432 (elected)
Dave Gronland (HRA) - 396 (elected)
David Hume (HRA) - 469 (elected)
Andy Munday (HRA) - 422 (elected)
Jackie Pell (HRA) - 438 (elected)
Michael Radley (HRA) - 403 (elected)
Linda Smith (HRA) - 399 (elected)
There is now two Labour seats on the Halstead Town Council:
Malcolm Fincken (LAB) 165 (elected)
Garry Warren (LAB) - 242 (elected)
Halstead Residents Association also secured four seats on Braintree Council.
Andrew Munday (HRA) - 593 (elected)
David Hume (HRA) - 701 (elected)
Jackie Pell (HRA) - 800 (elected)
Michael Radley (HRA) - 628 (elected)
