THE tale of a hopelessly mismatched couple is the topic for the latest production by a Beaumaris amateur dramatic group.
The Castle Players are performing Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy ‘RolePlay.’
The show's opening night was yesterday (Thursday, May 2), and the show is on from 7.30pm, on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4, at the Town Hall, Beaumaris.
According to one of the players, Kate Parry said:
"This is a hilarious play. It features Justin and Julie-Ann, who are hopelessly mismatched in love, and who are about to introduce their respective parents to each other over dinner, Justin’s upper-crust alcoholic mother from Surrey and Julie-Ann’s bigoted Yorkshire father and prim mother."
"It is definitely one not to be missed!"
Tickets are £10 and are available from castleplayers.yapsody.com as well as from Tinkers and Belles and The Bull’s Head in Beaumaris.
