SAINTS Women moved level on points with Castleford Tigers at the top of the Super League table with a 54-16 victory over Featherstone to make it three wins from three.

Played after Saints’ game against Catalans, a good crowd stayed behind to cheer the women’s team.

Saints class was evident from the off with Jodie Cunningham scoring the first of her hat-trick after just 80 seconds.

Tara Jones went in from dummy half for the second, Naomi Williams started and finished a 70 metre move for the third, before Cunningham’s second .

Rovers responded with two quick tries from Zoe Teece and Grace Hepton, before Cunningham completed her first half hat-trick.

Second half tries came from Emily Rudge, two, Zoe Harris and two from left wing Leah Burke.

Rovers got a consolation score, but Williams rounded off the scoring with an eleventh try in the corner.
