CHILDREN got crafty during the Easter holidays at a special creation station.
Colchester Council ran a series of Easter-themed activities for children.
The programme included an Easter Creations day at the Hollytrees Museum in Castle Park.
Children were able to make seasonal wreaths, a pom-pom chick or an Easter sun catcher to take home.
A spokesperson for Colchester Council said it was a great day and the children loved getting crafty.
He said: “Hollytrees came alive with the sound of youngsters enjoying some egg-citing Easter holiday fun.
“The hour-long craft workshops encouraged the children to create a variety of beautiful Easter wreaths by tying brightly-coloured cloth strips to a circular frame, which they then decorated with feathers, Easter chicks and ribbons.”
The pom-pom chick workshop was held later that afternoon, and the sun-catcher session was held the following day.
