I AM struggling to justify why I should vote in the local elections on May 2 as a democratic vote these days has all the value of the Venezuelan bolivar.
The three main parties are in a woeful state and have little credibility with voters.
No doubt the Lib-Lab coalition running Colchester Council will call for a confirmatory vote if the election results are not to their liking, in line with the policy of their European masters across the channel on such occasions.
The Conservative Party also needs to get its act together as it is well on its way to being downgraded to the level of its former coalition partners, the Lib Dems.
Someone in the political arena needs to make a compelling case for me to place my “X” in any box on May 2.
