A COMEDIAN and the great grandson of a famous painter will be donating works to a charity art show.
Colchester’s Secret Art Sale is back this Friday and Saturday.
Contributors are comedian and actress Jenny Eclair, internationally acclaimed artist Maggi Hambling and a host of well-known painters.
There is even a sketch by Danish-French painter Camille Pissarro’s great grandson, and an original Private Eye cartoon.
More than 400 artworks will be sold at the set price of £40.
But art lovers will not know whose work they are buying until after the sale.
Money raised will go to the Cancer Centre at Colchester Hospital.
The exhibition is at The Minories, in Colchester High Street, from 10am until 5pm.
