A DOG owner and her Labrador are living the dream after winning two rosettes at the world famous dogs show Crufts.
Samantha Ragus, 22, and her two-year-old working lab Alfie scooped top spot in the Youth Kennel Club Obedience class for the 18 to 24 age group.
Samantha, of Windmill Road, Halstead, followed in her grandparents’ footsteps as they also competed at Crufts.
She began obedience classes when she was six and said: “It’s the biggest dog show anyone can compete in and we wanted to be there.”
The pair had to qualify to compete at Crufts and showcased their heel work on a lead, demonstrate recall and Alfie was examined to win the first class and then took the top spot for heel work with a lead and without, recall, retrieve and play.
