From the Hythe, Turner Rise and beyond here are some incredible pictures of Colchester from the sky.

We had a photographer take a trip on a plane to capture some images of north Essex.

In our second instalment we are in Colchester viewing Essex University, Knowledge Gateway and the Hythe area.

There are also pictures of Turner Rise and of the St Andrew’s Avenue/Ipswich Road roadworks.

Then it is on to Wrabness including Grayson Perry house and Wix and Wrabness School, Ramsey, Parkeston and Felixstowe.

Our snapper also ventured out to Weeley including pictures of McDonalds, Weeley crematorium, the Tendring Council offices.

Next up was Walton including Walton Pier, Titchmarsh Marina, the Naze tower and the Columbine Centre.

Over the coming weeks there will be more pictures of the Essex skyline in the Daily Gazette.

There will be a new set of pictures every Tuesday.
