The Llandudno Coastguard and RNLI were tasked with searching the Great Orme area over the weekend, but found nothing.

A Llandudno Coastguard spokesperson said: "Over the weekend we were tasked to search for a Missing person in the Great Orme area.

"We were initially tasked at 15:33 on Saturday and along with Penmon Coastguards, Llandudno Lifeboat RNLI, SARDA Wales, North Wales Police and Rescue 936, we searched the Great Orme area.

"We searched until 10pm but due to the lack of light the search was suspended until the following day.

"We started again on Sunday, recommencing at 9am and working until 5pm but nothing was found.

"After two long days it was decided to end our involvement in the search, as we had conducted an extensive search of the Great Orme with nothing found, although Police enquiries are continuing."

North Wales Police are continuing their efforts in Llandudno with underwater search teams and officers currently on site.
