A man who showed a “flagrant disregard” for court orders has been jailed.
Grant Eaton, 35, admitted to breaching a molestation order handed to him when appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
Eaton, of Bocking End, Braintree, had broken the terms of the order by sending 42 Whatsapp messages to a person he was prohibited from contacting.
He also admitted to ringing the person’s front door bell during the court hearing on Tuesday, January 29.
Eaton was sentenced to 10 weeks in jail, with court documents stating he had show disregard for a molestation handed to him just weeks earlier on Monday, January 7.
Magistrates also served him with restraining order and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £115.
