A WOMAN who stole money from a charity box has been served with a community order.
Caroline Clyde, 31, admitted to stealing donations made by the public from a charity box based in the Velvet Sunrise shop in New Street, Braintree on September 14 last year.
During her appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates Court last week, Clyde, of Silver End, was ordered to pay costs of £220, including £50 in compensation.
Magistrates also ordered her to undertake 50 hours of unpaid work.
