THEY brought you Hunks in Trunks... now here’s a little something for the lads.
Milton Lodge care home in Colchester is renowned for surprising its residents with the most exciting experiences.
Last year, they arranged for Hunk in Trunks to serve up dinner and sauce for the ladies, and realised they did not want to leave out the men.
Staff at the home in Ipswich Road arranged a Burlesque performance as part of a lads night in.
Beautiful burlesque dancers were asked to come into the home to dance for the men.
The men got right into the spirit, dressing up in fancy dress and giving the ladies a cheeky cuddle.
Kate Perkins, deputy manager at the home, said the night was initiated by resident Danny Wright.
She said: “The day after the Hunks in Trunks event Danny came up to me and said ‘Oi, what about me and the rest of the men?’.
“The lads really enjoyed it, they were still talking about it the next day.
“They said it was the best night they had in a long time and they were just full of smiles.
“The girls really interacted well with them.”
The male residents enjoyed the show, along with their families and staff members. Kate said Danny and friend Dick Smith were particularly delighted with the performance.
