Tina McKay who is behind the event
A 'PEOPLE-powered mass meeting' is being organised by Colchester Labourites tonight.
Colchester Labour Party and party candidate Tina McKay will be joined by MP for Norwich South, Clive Lewis, at Colchester Arts Centre.
The idea is to launch a "people-powered movement in Colchester", they said, to "transform and rebuild" the town.
Suggestions and concerns put forward could impact the direction of Labour's next manifesto, the party added.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
The meeting is open to everyone, not just Labour party members.
